Hello, and welcome to Seeking Yahweh and Yahshua! We are a global online ministry of Seeking My Yah.
Our calling is to bring others into a knowledge of the name Yahweh and Yahshua. We serve first-time seekers, those familiar with the names, and those with no religious background.
We are guided by Proverbs 30:4(NIV).”Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind in his fist? Who has wrapped up the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know!”
We will answer those questions today. No matter what brought you to our website today. Whether it was curiosity, a longing for something deeper, or a weariness from the chaos of the world.
Please know you are here by divine design. You can come as you are. Exploring faith can quickly feel overwhelming with complex theology and religious traditions. On this website, we strip all of that away to focus entirely on the foundation of everything: perfect, unconditional, life-changing love.
Every human being has an intrinsic longing to be known, valued, and loved. We often look for it in relationships, careers, or achievements, but those things can leave us feeling empty. That deep ache was designed to be filled by the One who created you. Today, I want to introduce you to two Hebrew names that represent the very definition of love: Yahweh and Yahshua.
Understanding Yahweh: The Eternal Creator.
Let’s start with the name Yahweh. You might be more familiar with the traditional title “the Lord” or simply “God.” But names carry immense weight. When the Creator revealed Himself to humanity in ancient Hebrew scriptures, He didn’t just give a title; He shared His personal name. Written with four ancient Hebrew letters, YHWH. The name Yahweh represents a breathing sound. Almost like a sigh or the breath of life itself.
Every time you breathe, you are whispering the name of your Creator. Yahweh is not a distant, angry judge waiting for you to make a mistake. He is the source of all existence, and His defining characteristic is an unwavering, covenant of love.
He is a personal Heavenly Father who desires a relationship with you more than anything else. He does not demand that you clean up your life before you approach Him; He simply invites you to come and find rest.
Understanding Yahshua: Love Personified.
Because Yahweh loved us too much to leave us broken and separated by the pain of this world, He made a promise to bridge the gap. He sent His Son to walk among us, to feel our pain, and to show us exactly what the Father’s love looks like in human form.
You likely know Him by His translated name, Jesus, but in His native Hebrew language, His name is Yahshua. This name carries profound meaning, literally translating to “Yahweh is Salvation” or “Yahweh Saves.” Yahshua did not come to condemn the world; He came to rescue it. He spent His time on Earth with the outcasts, the broken, and the searching.
He demonstrated the ultimate act of love by laying down His life so that we could be completely forgiven and reunited with Yahweh. Yahshua is the tangible, visible proof that the Father reaches into your story with grace.
